Three things that brought me joy over the weekend, besides the sun...

Handpicked organic strawberries from the local farmers market...first one of the season!

Spring flowers are spread throughout my house. They smell so good Mark even requested some on his bedside table.

Rock & Roll Marathon

It is finally here...well its tomorrow morning at 7am but its here!!! I'm super excited and super nervous all at the same time. I'm just running the half (13.1 miles) but all I have to say is BRING IT ON!! I'm going to ROCK AND ROLL until my legs fall off.

Energy Goo- Check
Running Number- Check
AWESOME SHOES- CHECK
VERY EXPENSIVE BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT RUNNING SOCKS- CHECK
Shorts- Oh crap....jk CHECK
Sports Bra with EXTRA SUPPORT- Double Checkola
Special running hat to keep the sun out of my eyes (yes the sun will be out tomorrow)- Check
100% nylon breathable tank top- Check
Ipod with the rocky soundtrack playing over and over- CHECK!!

I think I'm ready!!

BTW...I have a wedding 4 hours after the race. I told Mark he might have to carry my around the wedding like a sack of potatoes because my legs will be out of commission. Wish him luck.

Happy 4th of July

Mark and I are leaving for a much need vacation on July 1st to Cresent Bar. Our fantastic friends, Brent and Julia have a gorgeous house right on the bar and we are going to party our little pants off. They have an amazing wake boarding boat in which I learned to wake surf on last year and I CANT WAIT to do it again. We will be gone for 6 glorious days which can't come any quicker! I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July and just in case I don't make it back from Cresent Bar...just wait longer. I will end it with some pictures from last year in CB Heaven.

I'm not sure if I mention enough how much I love my day... but he is truly the best!

Wedding Bliss

I was in my first wedding this weekend and it was amazing! One of my best friends, Elise Stevenson tied the knot to Paul Krawczyk. It was such a fun wedding!!

I did not catch the bouqet...it was ripped out of my hands by a large woman with tattoos...I was not going to fight.

Don't worry everyone we're still alive...

I've been sitting at my desk for a good 30 minutes thinking about an excuse/reason why I haven't posted anything on my blog in over a year and I came up with...

My fingers fell off so I couldn't type...

I've been working on my tan for my 5 minute cameo on the Jersey Shore. Phew!! It feels so good to get something off of my chest other then my spray tan.

With all that said and done we are alive and well!! I promise from now on my blog will come first before any tanning bed.

Maybe Britney is staying at the Best Western?

Ms. Britney Spears has come and gone. The concert was very entertaining even though she did lip sync the whole thing. Our seats were amazing. My sister gave her bodyguard a high five so we all had to touch my sisters hand because Britney had to at some point. It was truly like we were 13 years old again. Screaming at the top of our lungs "WE LOVE YOU BRITNEY" and then waking up the next morning with no voice was awesome!! We stayed at the Best Western right across the street for the Tacoma Dome. I've never in my life had to deal with such bitchy girls. My favorite moment was standing in line for the elevator and looking at the sign that says maximum capacity 9 people. So we pile into the elevator with 10 people not even realizing it and some 30 year old trailer trash mom looks directly at me and says "obviously you girls don't know how to count". Oh lord I hope this elevator can make it to the 2ND floor before it breaks!!! I just started laughing. It amazed me how many rude girls are out there. Anyways here are some pictures from the night....
