Maybe Britney is staying at the Best Western?

Ms. Britney Spears has come and gone. The concert was very entertaining even though she did lip sync the whole thing. Our seats were amazing. My sister gave her bodyguard a high five so we all had to touch my sisters hand because Britney had to at some point. It was truly like we were 13 years old again. Screaming at the top of our lungs "WE LOVE YOU BRITNEY" and then waking up the next morning with no voice was awesome!! We stayed at the Best Western right across the street for the Tacoma Dome. I've never in my life had to deal with such bitchy girls. My favorite moment was standing in line for the elevator and looking at the sign that says maximum capacity 9 people. So we pile into the elevator with 10 people not even realizing it and some 30 year old trailer trash mom looks directly at me and says "obviously you girls don't know how to count". Oh lord I hope this elevator can make it to the 2ND floor before it breaks!!! I just started laughing. It amazed me how many rude girls are out there. Anyways here are some pictures from the night....

Those Damn Shirts!!

Where do I even start???!!!

This upcoming Thursday a group of 10 girls and I are going to the Britney Spears concert. We are all such big fans of the brit brit roller coaster and are crossing our fingers she actually shows up to do the concert. Last friday we all came up with the idea to make matching t-shirts for the concert...so I told everyone to be at my house at 11am on Sunday...BAD IDEA!

First of all, I completely forgot we had a birthday party the night before so we didn't end up getting home until 3am, so 11am was pretty early. We stayed over at our friends house in Shoreline that night, and by 10:30 I was trying to wake up the beast (Mark) and he doesn't even move. I told him to wake up because I have girls coming over to make Britney shirts...he laughed and rolled over. Then Jessica suggested we can take her car over to my house and the boys can come over later... DUH...why didn't I think of that! We get all the way over to my condo in Bellevue, get out of the car and get to my door step (everyone is already there) and I remember that Mark has the house keys in his pocket!! Fudge!! Finally 45 minutes later the boys arrive with the house keys!

After already spending over $200 at Jo-Anne Fabrics and $100 at Big 5 for the t-shirts the project was about to begin! Quick note: my unemployment checks are $315 a week. I now have 15 dollars for the rest of the week. ANYWAYS...I get a couple of girls on diamond gluing duty...a couple on pizza making duty...and couple on printing the brit picture and myself on ironing duty. I light a couple of candles to set the mood and were off! After about an hour looking for the perfect picture to iron onto our shirts, my job has finally begun. I put the picture down on the shirt and grab the hot iron and start ironing..."TA DA" I yell....no one says a single thing but stares at the shirt. I had ironed Britney's face on upside down on the shirt. My job was now down sized to pizza cutter. Then Jordan steps into my iron duty position. She starts to iron and gets the face on perfectly straight and right side up, but has pressed the iron so hard onto the shirt she took the varnish right off of our kitchen table and onto the shirt. The back of the shirt was completely varnished. She starts to cry...30 minutes of comforting shes back on ironing duty. This time she asks for a piece of glass so we can put it in between the shirt and the table...DUH...why didn't I think of that! I grab a piece of glass that was embedded into our coffee table..it was a perfect size!! Meanwhile the pizza is ready...I (pizza cutter duty) start my job...the pizza was burnt on the top and raw in the middle. At that point I could care less! We eat and get back to work...by this time we had been working on these shirts for 4 hours. We had one shirt done and two shirts two throw away. Time to get going!! Finally Jordan gets the hang of ironing and completes another two shirts...then all of a sudden we hear a crack...the piece of glass from Marks coffee table had shattered. I place me hands over my mouth and lean back onto my chair and repeat over and over every swear word ever invented. Jordan starts crying (again) and is now scared Mark is going to come home and kill her. I'm thinking in my head, where will I go once Mark drops me off on the streets tonight. Then I hear my sister yelling "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD" she tackles me to the ground and starts hitting my head...my pony tail had gone into the candle and my hair had gone up in flames! Let's just say I now have bangs. By this point I call up Mark and told him to pick me up 4 bottles of wine and whatever the other girls wanted to drink. By 9:00pm the shirts were finally done!! They turned out great but I will never ever do another craft project in my life!! Britney better appreciate this!

Unemployment Benefits

Since I've been unemployed and my best friend Shawna has been on bed rest due to a bad back we have had a fabulous time playing with the camera on her new computer! Major goofballs.

Your never to old to be silly!!

Brandon's Birthday

A good friend of ours had a birthday in Day Creek. His family owns a cabin up there and we had a blast! We spent all weekend up there with a great group of friends and it was something I will always remember. I cant wait for next year! Here are some of the hundreds of photos that were taken....

I'm not a very good blogger!

It's been a couple of months since my last post and I have not a single excuse why! I apologize to my blogging fans...all 5 of them. My good friend Shawna writes me at least twice a day and tells me how horrible and boring my blog is!

So today is a new day and I'm here to blog about everything that's been going on in the past couple of months!

I'm still currently unemployed....BUT I'm working for a couple weeks covering for a girl who is on her honeymoon. Craiglist post's about two jobs a day and they usually start out at $11.00 an hour. I'd rather collect unemployment and continue to do marketing for my dad's company. I read that only 3% of jobs are found on websites like Craigslist they other 97% are found by word of mouth. So I currently have made a shirt for everyday of the week that has my resume on it. Maybe that will work. Mark is still building in Duvall. They keep him busy with new projects everyday. He's currently working on re-doing the riding arena. These people have an endless amount of money so they come up with some really odd projects...I think next is the pigeon coop. Mark and I finally got a dining room table and chairs. Now our friends don't have to sit on the hardwood floor anymore. It was starting to get pretty embarrassing. We have a crazy next couple months...baby showers, birthdays, weddings, bridal showers, bachelor & bachelorette parties, Vegas, Easter, my mom moving and the list goes on. I will try my best to continue my blogging to the best of my ability!

Love, Mark and Nelly
